01.11.15 = Christmas Past
I'm always sad to see the holidays go. I spent yesterday slowly packing up all my ornaments and memories for another year. It's strange how the house seems a bit more empty without all the red bows and garlands. I'm burning down the last of the holiday smell-good candles and thank goodness, all the holiday food contraband is gone. Until December.
"Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to be put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself." Norman Wesley Brooks
