02.10.12 = Flashback Friday 1972 – Burn-Off-Shot
Back in the days of film, there were always those last few shots on the roll that we called the burn-off shot. Those last few on the roll you had to “burn off” so you could take the roll in to get developed. This is one of those shots; Dad, burning the last shot off of himself in the mirror. It’s funny, as I’ve been scanning all the slides, I’ve noticed that some of those burn-off shots are some of favorites. They seem to be of everyday life back in the day. No specific event and they are often not posed, just simple everyday life. It’s nice to have those just to remember the little things.
