09.16.11 = Flashback Friday - Kelly
I had such a time down in Texas visiting my sister and brother-in-law. It was great spending time and getting caught up with the Texas clan. So when it was time to head back north, it all seemed a little bittersweet. Now, I’ve traveled for years for work, and going home was always the one thing I looked forward to. After airports, hotels and rental cars, there was nothing that could stop me from getting home. But this trip was different, I already felt at home. I won’t lie, I cried for the first 10 miles when I left, then I cried some more at 50, 100 and 500 miles out and I made it home. So, it’s back to email, long phone conversations and skype, but it’s not the same as being there. Miss you!
