09.26.11 = Fancy Texas
I was just panning through some of my images from my trip down to Texas and really liked this one of the capitol dome. There’s still so many to process so I thought I would start here. If you zoom in on this one, you can really see the detail and fancy. Boy, they sure don’t make em’ like this anymore do they? And why not? Why does everything have to be so modern and cold and all the hard lines of glass and metal? What has happened to all the wonderful craftsmanship of yesteryear? I love walking into places like this. You can feel the importance and specialness from every corner, unlike the new buildings of today. I think we could all use a little special in our everyday lives.
