2011 the daily post - photo journal
I've named this gallery "The Daily Post" but I can't promise that I will post every day. This gallery is more of a journal of what's going on in my little section of this world we all share. Some days the photo may be better than the commentary and others, the commentary is much better than the photo. It's just a way to combine two of my favorite things, photography and speaking my mind. Here's to 2011! Kris :D

03.25.11 = A wink and a smile
I’m a dog person and I believe that all the cats that I meet, know this about me. Now, I don’t dislike cats, well not much anyway, but I would prefer to have a dog in my house than a cat. However, when I’m out shooting around old buildings and abandoned barns, I would much rather come across a cat than a dog. Somehow a slow creeping cat is much less threatening than a slow creeping dog. Dogs are up front and tell you that you are on their property and you should be on your way, whereas cats say to you, “Take your time, look around, I don’t own the place I just live here.”
“Cats always know whether people like or dislike them. They do not always care enough to do anything about it.” Winifred Carriere

I agree that dogs rule but so true about who is less scary to stumble upon. Such a great shot. Made me smile, thanks!!

I'm a dog person too...although I own 3 cats & 3 dogs...my cats get a bit of the short end of the stick when it comes to attention : (
