Okay, it might be childish, but I love finding stuff with my name on it! I think it goes back to my childhood when I could NEVER find my name on one of those little license plates for my bike. You remember those don’t you? We would be on vacation and stop at a Stuckey’s for gas, shakes and rest room break and then take our time browsing around the gift shop full of candy, ceramic figurines and wooden plaques with Jesus on them. There was always that rack with either key chains or the license plates with names on them. Kelly, Kim, Kris or Kasey was never an option. They always had nice names like Mary, Susan and Amy. And if by chance one of us would find our name, my mother would say it wasn’t fair for one girl to get it and not the others , so unless they had all 4 names then, sorry, you’re out of luck. Thanks a lot Kasey.

on April 6, 2011I love it...and I still look through stuff like that for my name. Now when I was growing up, Amy was not a popular name...lots of names like Denise, Jane, Debbie, etc. but never an Amy...my current key ring reads, "Grandpa's Cheese Barn, Ashland OH. I'm Grandpa's Favorite. Amy" : >)
