10.21.11 = Flashback Friday – Dress-a-Like
Today’s Flashback Friday is a favorite of mine; a photo of my two older sisters, Kelly and Kim. I’m guessing they are around ages 5 and 3 here? I’m sure when my family sees this, they will inevitably correct me. ANYway, what struck me about this photo was, how Mom used to dress us alike when we were young. I’m sure if you have siblings, at some point you had matching outfits and the pictures to prove it. When we were a little older, it might be the same dress or outfit, only in a different color. Hmmm, cute you say? Well, I think it was just my mothers way of trying to save time. Easy to shop for, just pick up a different size or color, and easy to get everyone dressed before an outing. Good time savers Mom. We always had a few pairs of Keds too. The dark colored ones, either red or blue, were for everyday play and the white ones were for going out. We always had our little white socks and our little white tennies. Good memories. Family, anything to add?

on October 24, 2011Priceless -- love those outfits and those smiling faces! My sister and I are 14 months apart and in most "special" photos of us when we were younger, we're dressed alike. Love how you bring back so many memories!
