2011 the daily post - photo journal
I've named this gallery "The Daily Post" but I can't promise that I will post every day. This gallery is more of a journal of what's going on in my little section of this world we all share. Some days the photo may be better than the commentary and others, the commentary is much better than the photo. It's just a way to combine two of my favorite things, photography and speaking my mind. Here's to 2011! Kris :D

How many of you remember these? I think we may have had something similar on a tree back in 1972. It’s amazing what you can do with a Styrofoam ball, straight pins and beads. I love all the homemade ornaments don’t you? It seems we were always making something out of pipe cleaners and macaroni as kids. I kind of miss that. Maybe I’ll dig into the pantry today and check out my pasta selection and see what I can come up with.

on December 21, 2011I remember these very well. I made lots of them when I was a kid. When my daughter was little I was her Girl Scout Troop leader, these were a big hit at the holidays. Wonderful shot!
