2011 the daily post - photo journal
I've named this gallery "The Daily Post" but I can't promise that I will post every day. This gallery is more of a journal of what's going on in my little section of this world we all share. Some days the photo may be better than the commentary and others, the commentary is much better than the photo. It's just a way to combine two of my favorite things, photography and speaking my mind. Growing up in “Burbs” as I did, I had very little exposure to farm animals. The closest I really got was when we fed the goats at the zoo and the ducks at the pond, but I never milked a cow, raised a pig or bred rabbits. So it’s been fun watching my niece and nephew over the years at the fair with their 4H animals. The level of dedication and commitment to their animals has been a very proud observation. Congratulations Mitch, you’ve become quite a showman!

on July 26, 2011Great shot! I am with you on growing up in the "burbs", always admired everyones work when we went to the Topsfield Fair every year and saw all the work from the various 4H clubs. Congrats to your niece and nephew!
