2010 the daily post - photo journal
This gallery is collection of photographs, thoughts and quotes of what is happening in my little section of the world and how I see it. And even though I call this “The Daily Post” I may not be able to post daily. I travel every week so I’m not always at my computer to post, however I’m never without my camera! I hope you enjoy this gallery as much as I enjoy putting it together. So, here’s to 2010 and the way I see it.

04.06.10 = Fishing
The smell of the fresh country air; the warm breezes; the sounds of killdeer running through the fields and frogs calling to each other across the pond. Time spent with family and friends fishing. Fishing for conversation and an excuse to take it easy for a day. Fishing for answers to questions. Fishing for questions to reason. No cell phones or blackberry; no laptops or ipods. Just you waiting for a tug on the line and fishing.
“A bad day at fishing is still better than a good day at work.” Unknown

on April 7, 2010Nice shot. You asked me what lens I am using for the bird photos. It's a Nikon 70-300mm with vibration reduction. The only pp is clarity in Lightroom which enhances the details (hey if Scott Kelby uses it so can I). I looked at SOOC and Clarity and the difference is slight so most of the detail you see is down to the lens.
