01.07.09 = Apples and Oranges
After shooting and processing these two, I have a whole new appreciation for the saying “Comparing Apples to Oranges. The orange kept rolling around, until I used a little stick um’ under it. The apple has a funny little tilt to the side, but it you photographed the backside, it had a large dent in it. While processing this image the tone and color was all out of whack. The smooth skin of the apple vs. the texture of the orange also gave me some fits. Again, I have a new appreciation for that saying.
Thanks again to all my fellow Smuggers. I really am having a lot of fun with this series and so glad you are enjoying it. A fellow Smugger asked to see my set-up and I am always happy to share what I do. I will get some more shots of my set up and create a new gallery. I’ll let you know when I get it up. (Probably not until the weekend.)
A hit for tomorrow’s post: Fuzz.
