05.29.10 = Building Blocks
With summer on our heels, we say good-by to another school year. The past few months have been very busy with planning summer vacations, proms, exams and graduations but, there is one person who will stay and continue to work and be there again next year; the teacher. It’s always been my secret desire to be a teacher, but I really don’t have the patience or tolerance and could smell a law suit just waiting to happen. However, my younger sister is a teacher and I see how hard she works and her sincere dedication to her profession and the lives of all her students. Our teachers give us the building blocks and foundations for our future. The good ones push us to our limits and then they push again because they see something in us that we don’t see in ourselves. So thank you to all the teachers out there. Your hard work and dedication is immeasurable.
“The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called “truth”.” Dan Rather

on May 29, 2010I love the composition of this shot and as always your thoughts to go along with the picture. I think these well loved blocks are great. I am contemplating lateral entry into teaching from time to time.
