2013 the daily post - photo journal
2013 begins my 5th year at doing a, somewhat daily post. This gallery is what I like to call a "photo journal" documenting the little things that are happening in my little section of the world. I can't say from day to day, what the image or what my message will be; it's the pot-luck of image galleries. Feel free to "share" with your friends, the more the merrier. Thank you for your support and ENJOY!

06.06.13 = Past It's Prime?
Easy come, easy go. I've been watching my peony's age in the vase for a week or so now. The fluffy soft, white petals are drying out and turning a beautiful antiqued brown. What was once a fragrant flowery smell has turned to a soft vanilla like smell. Each flower and petal has become more unique in it's own way, with a wonderful texture and color. It's been fascinating watching each flower age and turn more interesting with time. They are still beautiful, just in a different way. It's true that youth will age and change, but it seems we all become a more unique version of ourselves.

on June 9, 2013Not only are you an incredible photographer, you have such a way with words. Made me feel like I could reach out and touch the peonies, and that I was along for the journey as they aged. Fantastic!
