09.13.13 = Flashback Friday - Hair Affair
Blow dryer's, curling irons, hot rollers, make-up mirrors, lamps and radio's, used to set our house aglow every morning. My father used to say that the president of CG&E (Cincinnati Gas & Electric) used to come by our house every morning and salute it. He claimed that our electric bill alone, sent three of his kids to college. Over the years, we've probably had every cut and style known to womankind. We've had pixies, pageboys, ponytails, pigtails, braids, buns and bangs; straight hair, curly hair, big hair, flat hair, short hair, long hair; We've had Farrah Fawcett's, Dorothy Hamill's, Lady Di's, Mia Farrow, shag's, wedge's and bob's. We've have flipped it up, curled it under, teased, tossed and permed it. Not to mention all the bobby pins, barrettes, ties, ribbons, bow's, clips and pink foam curlers we had. I'll stop now before I go off on all the different brushes and the products we put in our hair.
