2009 the daily post - photo journal
This is my 2009 photo journal gallery. I would like to commit to a new photo everyday, but with my schedule I know I could never maintain it. I will add new photo's as often as I can and it can be anything that catches my eye. So, this is 2009 THROUGH MY EYES!
Thank to all you great folks on the Dailies. Your consistant work and comments are an ispiration to me.

10.03.09 = As I sit here this morning with my daily post and trying to come up with a quote of the day, I am reminded of just one. A quote from my brother-in-laws late mother Mildred Satterfield; “We pay strangers; We do for Family.”
This year has been a challenging one for so many people with lay-offs and closings. I think it’s more important than ever “to do for family”. Regardless of who that family is, whether it’s your church family, work family or your immediate family; do for family.

on October 4, 2009There sure is a lot to "do" this year, isn't there? What a beautiful sentiment. And the church door in disrepair really punctuates it. David took a huge pay cut this year. Yet we are so grateful he still has his job. At the same time, we know there is so much to do and to give because we know so many who lost their jobs, including many of David's former coworkers. Thanks for reminding us of how these hard times call us to an active love of neighbor.
