09.17.10 = A bowl of O’s
It seems that lately, I have become a “breakfast person” I’ve never been a big breakfast person, I’m more of a “lunch person”. And really, who isn’t a “dinner person”? My breakfast used to only consist of a few cups of coffee or an OJ. But these past several months, I’m really liking my breakfast. I love eggs scrambled, fried on a sandwich or an omelet with ham and cheese but never over easy. I don’t like runny eggs. A good bowl of cereal with a cup of yogurt or toast with peanut butter. My favorite is biscuits with sausage gravy like my grandmother made. Yummm, but you can’t eat that but every once in a while. Pancakes are another favorite that I only eat every once in a while. Too much sugar that early is a bad thing. Beacon, sausage and ham, yummm. Okay, who’s getting hungry? They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I tend to agree. I always feel so much better after a good breakfast. Why is it that so many of us skip breakfast? Companies give us a lunch hour, they should give us a breakfast hour. Just a little food for thought.
