10.10.14 = Flashback Friday - The Dressmaker
Last night my sisters and I were texting back and forth during Project Runway. It's our thing every Thursday night. Each in our homes separated by miles all watching and commenting on the same show. Anyway, it got me thinking about my Grandmother. She was an extremely talented sewer and dressmaker. What I would give to be able to sit down and watch the show with her. I would love to hear her comments about the designers and clothes. I'm sure she would make comments like, "That's the wrong way to put in a sleeve.." and, "Those seams are a mess." I can hear and see her now, sitting in her chair with a cold beer in her hand. She had big personality that her petite frame couldn't contain. How I miss her.
